Pointless, boring maze runner. Timed levels are ridiculous. Default brightness level is basically a dark screen. Save your money and time, skip this one.

The plot of the story is extremely well thought, the controls are perfect, graphics: Amazing Buy it! Very cool All I thought (and more) it would be ! Those who write bad reviews have their own opinion, to me ,they only like action games, have a bad eyesight, and have extra bad taste for games. There are allot of people with five stars and few people with three or less, majority wins, which means the game is good, which means you should buy it. When will the second version be available???

Ok lets start off with all the bad comments ignore them the people who Wrote them have the IQ of rocks and Probably wear diapers. Now this is a good/great app for two Reasons its graphics and its storyline The game itself i let you figure out that Yourself because i love stories and This one is a bit complicated so Code 1,12,5,26,.,16

Great game, lots of fun, I like the exploration, I like the controls. Only two things I can think of off the top of my head would make it better: 1. More ambient light! I have to have both the system brightness and the game brightness all the way up, and then have the glow from the repulser as that added little bit to make sure that I see everything. I understand that you are in a cave, but considering that part of the game is trying to find hidden openings (that you would be able to see if you were in the ship) , and the only clue is that you can see behind the wall a little bit, a little more light would be great. 2. Some indicator that the level still has an artifact. Im not really that much of a compleationist, but I do want to upgrade the ship.

The game itself is great and well put together, but the swearing it in just ruins it. Not keeping it sorry.

This is truly an instant classic! Gene Effect is a great, challenging time killer. Without giving any spoilers, Gene Effects mysterious adventure campaign will have you on the edge of your seat with a constant eerie soundtrack and scene after scene of beautiful and seductive surprises. My one and only problem with GE is its terrible, although I imagine partially intentional lighting. Other than that I give Gene Effect an honest, well deserved four out of five stars.

And too dark. But if you turn up brightness in options it is better. Relict system seems to be dumb luck to find - you literally just bump in to walls until you find one you can pass through. Not much of a puzzle based on early levels. Just random bumping in to things in the dark. Spend your money on something else.

Im really enjoying this game. I was looking for something that was similar to waking Mars and this has some similarities. I think the developers have done a great job and I think the price is very fair.

This game is graphically amazing, but the game itself is slow, and the plots a bit difficult to understand, gameplay is great and I think the controls are good as well, worth it if youve got time to murder

This may be a side-scrolling game, but its deeper than most 1st person games Ive seen on the App Store. The gameplay is slow-paced, and cautious, giving the game a feeling of exploring the unknown. (You are on an alien planet, so it makes sense!) The soundtrack is nothing short of amazing. Its incredibly epic, and sounds like a multi-million dollar movie! Lets not forget the stunning visuals, plunging you even deeper into the world of Gene Effect. Everything comes together to create an iOS masterpiece. If you are a fan of deep sci-fi adventures, this is perfect for you!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Extra stars for this game! Best Ive come across for a looong time. I had to force myself to stop playing this so I could sleep. Graphics are great, BG music to match, nice story line, and just the right amount of challenge. And the best part by far(at least as of now) no annoying IAP to deal with!

Cant believe theres not more people giving this a chance! Ive been hooked since the first time I played it on my iPod touch 4 generation that was a long time ago and now its on my new iPod touch 5 generation and i still love this game! This game deserves to be the #1 on adventure platformer games for sure!! Dont believe me, give it a shot!!

Use your highly maneuverable ship to explore an ancient alien mine. Collect minerals and artifacts to fire up strange machines of mysterious origin. This is a well done side scroller with great maps, artwork, and a really good mood setting sound track. Highly playable and addictive, youll want to try again and again after being blown to bits by a floating mine! Im hoping theres a sequel, Im playing it for sure!

Its a beautifully designed game. Its just not fun. In fact its anti-fun. They explain so little, about the controls, the mechanics, how to find things like relics and artifacts, because they want the player to find it all out for themselves. But one of the ways of finding relics is apparently through hidden wall passageways, when the primary objective is to never hit the fing wall. The only one I found was from their demo video. Theres no way to find them without just running into the wall everywhere, and thats a fail. LOTS of repetition that is not fun or relaxing. Going around in circles in the same mine. Getting blown up out of nowhere and having to start a whole tedious level over. There is some info in the briefings, but you wont know what its talking about until after the fact. So yeah, gorgeous, generally well designed, but not fun for more than 5 minutes. Could be with a little less stinginess with the info, and save points throughout levels.

Look for concave walls, thats where the secret passages are found. Only after crashing my way through the games did I discover the wall anomalies.

This is a fine adventure game. Graphic and sound are tops. Ive had hours of exploring and avoiding rocks falling, lasers, poison vegetation, mines. You have some easy mine to explore and then some difficult almost impossible but challenging mine. Story line is great. You really need to read and follow the mission data. Sent my daughter the game for a gift

I refuse to look on the internet for help with a game. If I cant figure out the controls in the training section of a game after numerous tries, i get frustrated. Never did figure out how to fly the drone. Deleted this game and moved on.

Ignore all the sissies whining about how the game doesnt explain mechanics or walk you through level. This game is for anyone whos ever loved old Segas "Sub-Terrania"
